[선교]Day 7 일본단기선교

Today’s Activities:
  • We went to Asakusa to see the Sensoji Temple to do a prayer walk for the people of Japan. We were able to share the gospel to students there.
  • Continued to distribute manga gospel tracks at Akihabara, an area with a lot of anime and manga stores catered towards young people. We met one person who asked why we would spend our time doing this and giving out tracks for free. He insisted on paying us because he cannot accept anything for free.
  • We explored Skytree for a few hours of free time and we were still continue to evangelize to the employees there and hand out gospel tracks
  • We ended fellowship with Missionary Bae and his wife for our final night and blessed them with a nice dinner, gift and a video recording of encouragement from their sons in the US
Prayer Requests:
  • Safe and smooth flight back to Virginia
  • Japan Mission Team members to continue to be a testimony to those around them in the days ahead after the short-term mission trip

    오늘의 사역:
    저희는 일본 사람들을 위한 기도 워크(prayer walk)를 하기 위해 아사쿠사 센소지(浅草寺)를 방문하였습니다. 그곳에서 학생들에게 복음을 전할 수 있는 기회도 있었습니다.이후 젊은이들을 대상으로 한 애니메이션과 만화 상점들이 많은 아키하바라에서 만화 복음 전도지를 계속 배포하였습니다. 그곳에서 한 사람을 만났는데, 왜 우리가 시간을 들여 이런 일을 하며 전도지를 무료로 나누어 주는지 물었습니다. 그는 무엇이든 무료로 받는 것을 받아들일 수 없다며 오히려 돈을 지불하려고 하였습니다.
    또한 잠시 자유시간 동안 스카이트리를 둘러보았으며, 그곳에서도 직원들에게 계속 복음을 전하고 전도지를 나누었습니다.
    마지막 밤에는 배 선교사님 부부와 함께 교제하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 정성껏 준비한 저녁 식사와 선물, 그리고 미국에 있는 아들들이 보내온 격려 영상으로 선교사님 부부를 축복하는 귀한 시간을 가졌습니다.

    • 버지니아로 돌아오는 비행 일정이 안전하고 순조롭게 진행되도록
    • 일본 단기선교팀원들이 선교를 마친 이후에도 삶의 자리에서 계속 주변 사람들에게 믿음의 증인으로 살아가도록
