[선교] Day 5 일본단기선교

Today’s Activities

  • Today we had 3 new kids join us today for the final day of VBS, including Japanese kids. Our final activity was a collaborative poster that included the children’s prayer requests and names of children they want to bring to church. One girl’s prayer was to not be ashamed of her faith.
  • We got to pray for the pastor and pastor’s wife as a team. 
  • Shin-okubo (K-town of Tokyo) is a popular place for young people. We prepared 200 gospel tracks to hand out (the track is actually formatted in a manga (cartoon) making it more approachable) with American candy. The tracks were distributed by our team in 20 minutes. Missionary said it was a record time!
  • PTL: After learning about the local church pastor’s ministry, it was a blessing to be served by them and get to know their mission here in Japan more
  • PTL: The VBS kids have demonstrated understanding of who Jesus is and shared prayers that touched the hearts of our team
  • PTL: The team is reminded again that throughout these past few days, it’s important to be a blessing to those we encounter whether it is on missions or day to day
  • Prayer Requests:
    • Tomorrow we will continue to Shibuya to hand out gospel tracks
    • Moon Kwansanim and Lee Kwansanim will be leading with the hair cutting for homeless people, pray for smooth process and the opportunity to spread God’s word
    • Pray for strength and continued unity with the mission team as our days are long 

오늘의 활동:
오늘은 VBS 마지막 날이었으며, 일본 아이들을 포함해 새로운 아이들 3명이 추가로 참석했습니다. 마지막 활동으로는 아이들의 기도제목과 교회에 데려오고 싶은 친구들의 이름을 적는 공동 포스터 만들기를 진행했습니다. 한 여자아이는 자신의 믿음을 부끄러워하지 않게 해달라고 기도했습니다.

또한 팀이 함께 목사님과 사모님을 위해 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

신오쿠보(도쿄의 코리아타운)는 젊은 사람들이 많이 모이는 인기 있는 장소입니다. 오늘 우리는 미국 사탕과 함께 나누어 줄 복음 전도지 200장을 준비했습니다. 전도지는 만화 형식으로 제작되어 사람들이 더 쉽게 다가갈 수 있도록 되어 있었습니다. 팀이 20분 만에 모든 전도지를 배포했고, 선교사님께서는 이것이 기록적인 속도라고 말씀하셨습니다!

감사제목 (PTL):

  • 현지 교회 목사님의 사역 이야기를 들으며, 그분들의 섬김을 받을 수 있었던 것이 큰 축복이었고 일본에서의 사명에 대해 더 깊이 알게 되었습니다.

  • VBS에 참석한 아이들이 예수님이 누구신지 이해하는 모습을 보여주었고, 아이들이 나눈 기도제목은 우리 팀의 마음에 큰 감동을 주었습니다.

  • 팀은 지난 며칠 동안의 시간을 통해, 선교지에서든 일상 속에서든 우리가 만나는 사람들에게 축복의 통로가 되는 것이 얼마나 중요한지 다시 한번 깨닫게 되었습니다.

기도제목:

  • 내일은 시부야에서 계속해서 복음 전도지를 나눌 예정입니다.

  • 문 권사님과 이 권사님께서 노숙인들을 위한 미용 사역을 인도하실 예정입니다. 모든 과정이 순조롭게 진행되고 하나님의 말씀을 전할 기회가 있도록 기도해 주세요.

  • 일정이 길어지는 가운데 선교팀의 체력과 지속적인 연합을 위해 기도해 주세요.
