[선교] Day 4 일본단기선교

Today’s Activities:
  • VBS Day! We prayed for more children to attend and God answered! We had 16 children attend including 3 who came to church for the first time. Our full day schedule of bible stories, singing, dancing and activities centered around the story of Jonah. Our theme song was One Way. From set-up to clean-up, we worshipped God together and worked as a team. 
  • PTL: Today, Team Leader Eric focused on being a blessing instead of letting negative thoughts fill his mind. This gave him wisdom and a renewed spirit to work well with Missionary Bae and the local church pastor
  • PTL: Ian is so thankful for the team. Through working with each other, he was reminded of the purpose and importance that God calls us to have community
  • PTL: Missionary Bae said that it is an amazing VBS turnout and that God led so many kids to come
  • Prayer Request:
    • Pray for the children who attended VBS today that they may be the salt and light for the nation of Japan and be able to spread God’s word
    • Tomorrow is a shorter day of VBS, pray for kids to return to church
    • Boldness and courage to take the opportunities during street evangelism tomorrow to share the gospel

오늘의 활동:
오늘은 VBS(여름성경학교) 첫날이었습니다! 더 많은 아이들이 참석하기를 기도했는데, 하나님께서 응답해 주셨습니다. 총 16명의 아이들이 참석했으며, 그중 3명은 처음으로 교회에 왔습니다. 오늘 하루의 모든 일정은 요나 이야기를 중심으로 진행되었고, 성경 이야기, 찬양, 율동, 그리고 다양한 활동들로 가득했습니다. 주제 찬양은 “One Way”였습니다. 준비부터 정리까지, 우리는 함께 하나님을 예배하며 한 팀으로 협력했습니다.

감사제목 (PTL):

  • 오늘 팀 리더 에릭은 부정적인 생각에 마음을 빼앗기기보다 다른 사람들에게 축복이 되는 데 집중했습니다. 이를 통해 지혜와 새 힘을 얻어 배 선교사님과 현지 교회 목사님과도 더욱 좋은 협력 가운데 사역할 수 있었습니다.

  • 이안은 팀에 대해 매우 감사하다고 나누었습니다. 함께 사역하며 하나님께서 왜 공동체를 중요하게 여기시는지, 그리고 공동체의 목적이 무엇인지를 다시금 깨닫게 되었다고 했습니다.

  • 배 선교사님께서는 이번 VBS에 이렇게 많은 아이들이 온 것이 놀라운 일이며, 하나님께서 많은 아이들을 인도해 주셨다고 말씀하셨습니다.

기도제목:

  • 오늘 VBS에 참석한 아이들이 일본 가운데 소금과 빛의 역할을 감당하며 하나님의 말씀을 전할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

  • 내일은 더 짧은 일정으로 VBS가 진행됩니다. 아이들이 다시 교회로 돌아올 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

  • 내일 노방전도를 할 때 복음을 담대하게 전할 수 있는 용기와 기회를 붙잡을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
