[선교] Day 2 일본단기선교

Day 2 (May 21, 2026)
  • Today’s Activities
    • Our first stop today was Meji Jingu Shrine. It is a famous and popular tourist attraction. During our prayer walk, you can hear so many different languages and so many people bowing to the shrine. This is a place that needs to hear about the true God. This is Missionary Bae’s favorite place to evangelize because it is the heart of the spiritual battle.
    • Next, we shared bento lunch with homeless people and Lee Jangronim led a bible study at Yoyogi Park. We also visited the homeless tents in the park to give bentos and evangelize to anyone who was home. 
    • We packed 210 gospel tracks to hand out today near Ikebukuro Station and we handed out everything in 2 hours even though many just passed by us. During the entire time, there was no rain. Praise God!
  • PTL: Bible study was great and testimony time was a blessing led by Lee Jangronim and Moon Kwansanim with translation from Danny and Rachel
  • PTL: Justin carried a luggage full of gospel tracks in the rain all day
  • PTL: Missionary Bae and Michelle Bae were an encouragement exemplifying how they sacrifice their lives to do God’s work
  • PTL: Ian shared that despite it being discouraging when people refuse gospel tracks or food, we know we need to keep knocking the doors because God wants to save every soul
  • PTL: Cuong felt God’s hand moving in our work even though there is culture and language barrier 
  • PTL: Even though it rained, we continued to meet and it did not hinder our schedule for the day
  • Prayer Requests
    • VBS is scheduled in two days. We are hoping for more kids to come, pray for the number to double
    • Ian gets nosebleeds when it is cold and dry, pray that it does not happen again on the trip
    • Lee Kwansanim has arthritis on both feet, pray for no pain during our long hours of walking and standing

오늘의 활동:
오늘 첫 번째 일정은 메이지 신궁 방문이었습니다. 이곳은 매우 유명하고 인기 있는 관광지입니다. 기도하며 걸을 때 수많은 다양한 언어가 들렸고, 많은 사람들이 신사에 절하는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다. 이곳은 참 하나님에 대해 들어야 하는 장소입니다. 배 선교사님께서는 이곳이 영적 전쟁의 중심이기 때문에 가장 좋아하는 전도 장소라고 말씀하셨습니다.

다음으로, 요요기 공원에서 노숙인분들과 함께 도시락 점심을 나누었고, 이 장로님께서 성경공부를 인도해 주셨습니다. 또한 공원 안의 노숙인 텐트를 방문하여 계신 분들께 도시락을 나누고 복음을 전했습니다.

오늘 이케부쿠로역 근처에서 나누어 줄 복음 전도지 210개를 준비했는데, 많은 사람들이 그냥 지나쳐 갔음에도 불구하고 2시간 만에 모두 나누어 줄 수 있었습니다. 그리고 그 시간 동안 비도 오지 않았습니다. 하나님께 감사드립니다!

감사제목 (PTL):

  • 이 장로님과 문 권사님께서 인도하신 성경공부와 간증 시간이 은혜로웠고, 대니와 레이첼이 통역으로 함께 섬겨 주었습니다.

  • 저스틴이 하루 종일 비를 맞으며 복음 전도지가 가득 담긴 짐가방을 들고 다녔습니다.

  • 배 선교사님과 미셸 배 사모님께서 하나님의 일을 위해 삶을 희생하며 섬기시는 모습을 통해 큰 격려가 되었습니다.

  • 이안이 나눈 고백처럼, 사람들이 복음 전도지나 음식을 거절할 때 낙심될 수 있지만 하나님께서 모든 영혼을 구원하시길 원하시기 때문에 계속해서 문을 두드려야 함을 깨달았습니다.

  • Cuong은 문화와 언어의 장벽이 있음에도 하나님께서 우리의 사역 가운데 역사하시는 손길을 느꼈다고 나누었습니다.

  • 비가 왔음에도 불구하고 우리는 계속 사역을 이어갈 수 있었고, 하루 일정에도 방해가 되지 않았습니다.

기도제목:

  • VBS가 이틀 뒤에 예정되어 있습니다. 더 많은 아이들이 오기를 소망하며, 참석 인원이 두 배가 되도록 기도해 주세요.

  • 이안은 춥고 건조한 날씨에 코피가 나는 경우가 있습니다. 남은 일정 동안 다시 코피가 나지 않도록 기도해 주세요.

  • 이 권사님께서 양쪽 발에 관절염이 있으십니다. 오랜 시간 걷고 서 있어야 하는 일정 가운데 통증이 없도록 기도해 주세요.
